CANADABrazilian Pierre Kleinubing kept his perfect Speedvision World Challenge Touring Car season in tact, winning the second round of the 10-race season at Mosport International Raceway in dominant fashion. Neal Sapp, of Elicott City, Md., and Taz Harvey, of Danville, Calif., completed the top-three.

Kleinubing, who started from the pole in the No. 42 BuySellorHold.com/RealTime Racing Acura Integra R, got the jump on the standing start and led every lap of the 28-lap, 68.85-mile event. Kleinubing averaged a record 92.715 mph to beat Sapp, driving the No. 2 ProPartsUSA.net BMW 328ci, by 8.251 seconds.

"I got a really good start, and they were battling behind me, which let me pull out to a lead," said Kleinubing, who also won Round One in Charlotte from the pole. "[Team Owner] P.D. [Cunningham] helps me out a lot. Last year, I lost the Championship because I threw it away a couple of times. I'm going to finish in the top-three all year this year."

Sapp, who started fourth in a new car, moved past second-quick qualifier Hugh Plumb on lap seven to take second, and held off charges from Don Salama and Harvey to come home second.

"This is a new car and the brakes aren't quite right yet, so I didn't want to try and out-brake Hugh," said Sapp. "I finally got a good run up the back straight and went by. I'm a little new to rear-wheel-drive, so it's going to take some time to get up to first."

Harvey had an exciting run in the No. 8 Dublin Honda/Tracy Honda Acura Integra R, starting fifth and being in the thick of the racing the entire time. Harvey's effort earned him the Borla Performance Award for the best drive of the day.

"I wish I had something for Neal [Sapp]," said Harvey. "We're always working on the careveryone makes fun of us for it, but today, we had a great car. Toward the end of the race, I had a fuel pickup problem, and I thought I was going to run out. My dad kept telling me I only had one lap to go!"

Will Turner, of Newburyport, Mass., finished fifth to move into second in points, with 47 points to Kleinubing's perfect 68. Alfred DuPont, of Kennett Square, Pa., finished fifth.

Mechanical problems ended Plumb's day. Ken Dobson, who started 39th, moved up to eighth by race's end, setting a new lap record in the process, with a time of 1:34.425 (93.750 mph).
