INDY 500: Second Session Morning Practice Speeds, Indy Pole Day

INDIANAPOLIS: Early morning practice began on shedule at 8 a.m. Saturday morning under overcast skies with chilly temperatures.
The second group took to the track as expected from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Qualifying for the 84th Indy 500 begins at 11:00 and runs until 6:00 p.m.
The final day of qualifying is Sunday, May 21. Only the fastest 33 drivers will start the 2000 Indianapolis 500. The green flag waves for the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing" at 11:00 a.m. local time next Sunday.
