FAST FACTS
Randy LaJoie will be pulling double duty this weekend at NHIS. One as driver of the No. 1 Bob Evans Restaurants Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and two as car owner of LaJoie Racing's No. 13 Chevrolet driven by Ted Christopher in the Busch North Series.
Of the 13 previous NHIS winners, Randy LaJoie along with one other driver have gone on to win the series championship in the same season.
LaJoie Looks Ahead to the Busch 200:
"New Hampshire is my home track and I seem to run well there. I like the flat one-mile ovals and I always seem to have a good setup on those types of tracks. I think that goes back to my early days of racing. I used to run on a lot of flat tracks with a lot of success. I think certain drivers adapt better to certain types of tracks, mine just happens to be the flat one-mile ovals.
"New Hampshire is just a fun race track. You've got to have a good car and a good motor, but you've also got to drive the wheels off the car. You can't wait around for something to happen. It's not a hold-your-breath kind of track, and for the drivers, that takes a little pressure off."
