ARCA: Ken Schrader enters Anderson ARCA 300

Schrader, the defending race winner, has entered a Federated Auto Parts sponsored Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the 300 lap short-track war.
In last years event, Schrader led 127 laps and held off a late-race charge from Frank Kimmel to earn his 6th career ARCA victory. In all, the veteran Concord, North Carolina driver has 19 ARCA starts posting 7 career wins, 10 top-5s and 12 top-10s. Additionally, he has led 782 laps in 12 events.
Indicative of Schraders versatility, his ARCA victories include wins on the Hagerstown Speedway half mile dirt oval in 1990, the Topeka, Kansas road course in 91, the 1-mile Indianapolis fairgrounds dirt oval in 94, the half mile paved Toledo Speedway in 97, the 1-mile Springfield dirt oval in 98 as well as two wins in 99 at Anderson and on the half mile paved Salem Speedway.
Practice begins at 10:30 AM local time followed by Talladega Pole Award qualifying at 12:30. The Anderson ARCA 300 is scheduled to roll off at 3 PM.
