ASA: June 17 Event to be known as WorldBestBuy.com 250

Pendleton, Ind. - WorldBestBuy.com, one of the fastest growing internet shopping sites in the global market, has agreed to become the event entitlement sponsor for the Saturday, *June 17 ASA ACDelco Series race at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The event will be the WorldBestBuy.com 250 and will be televised live at 3 p.m. (Eastern) on TNN Sports.

"This will allow people to be further aware of WorldBestBuy.com and its more than five million available products," said spokesman Mack McClellan. "ASA is a perfect choice with its television package and weve chosen motorsports as the vehicle to raise awareness of WorldBestBuy.com."

The San Diego-based internet company recently announced an associate sponsorship with the Herzog Motor Sports two-car ASA team of drivers Ricky Johnson and Mark E. Dismore. The company also sponsors a Winston Cup and Busch Grand National team, as well as an Indianapolis 500 entrant.

The WorldBestBuy.com 250 will mark the 11th time ASA has visited the .50-mile oval. A total of nine different drivers have been to the Winners Circle, including last years eventual ASA National Champion Tim Sauter and Mike Garvey. Sauters win came on July 10, while Garvey collected his third consecutive triumph of 1999 with a 300 lap victory on September 18.
