WARD BURTON, NO. 22 POLARIS PONTIAC GRAND PRIX: "We got back from Texas and did a little work on the car and a little work in the motor shop. It showed up today. The guys have done a good weekend over their weekend off to get his Polaris Pontiac a little more competitive. Hopefully we'll do a good job on Saturday. That (qualifying run) was by far the best the car has felt. Coming here this morning I just wanted to make the top 25. I think we'll have a good piece for Polaris and everybody on Saturday."

JASON JARRETT, NO. 11 RAYOVAC PONTIAC GRAND PRIX: "We came here with the exact same set-up we had at Las Vegas. We've had to change it a little bit. Obviously you're going to have to change it because the entrance into the corner is a little different and the banking is a little different. But as far as the way we went to Vegas and the way we are now, it's almost the same."

JASON LEFFLER, NO. 18 MBNA PONTIAC GRAND PRIX: "We've struggled a little bit. We didn't come here and test, so I was just learning something every lap. But it was a good qualifying lap, I think. I was pretty cautious in (turns) one and two because we pushed down there all day and I didn't want to push in qualifying. But that is the best lap we ran all day and I think everybody is pretty happy."

(ON HIS UPCOMING RUN IN THE INDIANAPOLIS 500) "That's pretty big. It's something I'm real excited about. I worked really hard to do it this year because with my commitment to stock cars, I won't get the chance to do it in the upcoming years. I think maybe this is the only chance I'll have so I want to make the most of it." (CAN HE WIN IT?) "Oh, I think so. With Treadway Racing, we can win it.."
