A donation by I.C.Y./SL Motorsports has opened a fund to benefit the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org) in the name of Speedvision Touring Car driver Mike Richards, who died Monday after a two-month battle with the disease.

Donations can be made through the SCCA Foundation (please note Mike Richards Fund), 9033 E. Easter Place, Englewood, CO 80112. Donations in Richards name will be accepted for a two month period (ending June 27), at which point the contribution will be made.

"Everyone has loved ones affected by cancer, and were sure that Mike would have supported a fund like this to help people faced with what he and his family were," said Mitch Wright, Speedvision World Challenge General Manager.
