"Fontana has not been good to me in a Busch car. I've finished
fourth
there in an International Race of Champions (IROC) car, but I really
haven't had any kind of luck in a Busch car.
"It's a beautiful facility, and it's a fun race track to run. Maybe if I go there in a different frame of mind, we'll have better finishes.
"For qualifying, you've got to be down on the white line of the track to get the best lap, but during the race, the track seems to grow to two grooves. It definitely gets wider as the day goes along. You can pass there and the draft also plays into the equation.
"They have done an A-1 job with that facility. (Roger) Penske is always a class act. It's not only a competitor-friendly track, it's fan friendly."
