CART: Eurosport covers the CART FedEx Championship Series

This year, Eurosport will again cover the CART FedEX Championship Series. The programmes will be broadcast every Wednesday night following the races on Sunday. (see attached schedule).

This one-hour prime time slot will feature a complete review of each race. Furthermore, in its weekly magazine Start Your Engines, Eurosport will return to the 2000 CART FedEX Championship Series with in depth-analysis and behind-the-scenes coverage of each race.

This programming decision will allow all motorsports fanatics to have an appointment to view this programme on Eurosport.

"Eurosport has taken this initiative to ensure full coverage of this event, one of the most important series within the motorsports season on Eurosport. Our objective is to offer a better service and satisfy all of our European viewers with a fixed scheduling confirmed Angelo Codignoni, CEO of Eurosport.

"Eurosport allows us to reach a significant number of racing fans and enthusiasts throughout Europe," said Keith Allo, vice president of broadcasting for CART.

"This coverage will help build our sport in a part of the world that already has a strong understanding and following for CART racing and the FedEx Championship Series."

The CART FedEX Championship Series - which started on March 30 on Eurosport - will be aired on Eurosports pan-European network, to more than 86 million homes and 220 million people in 54 countries, as follows:
