NASCAR BGN: Mike Skinner To Drive For Andy Petree Racing

Flat Rock, NC- Andy Petree Racing announced today that
NASCAR Winston Cup regular Mike Skinner will take over driving duties of
the
No. 15 Albertson's Chevrolet for a limited NASCAR Busch Series, Grand
National Division schedule beginning with the Auto Club 300 at California
Speedway on April 29."Mike Skinner is a great competitor and his success in Winston Cup racing proves that," Petree said. "We are excited about having a driver of his caliber in the Albertson's Chevrolet and I know the team is looking forward to their next race with Skinner behind the wheel."
Skinner, the 1997 NASCAR Winston Cup Rookie of the Year, will compete in a total of six races for Andy Petree Racing in 2000. Following his debut with the team at California Speedway, Skinner will race at Lowe's Motor Speedway on May 27 and October 7, Dover Downs International Speedway on June 3 and September 23 and Phoenix International Raceway on November 4.
Derrick Gilchrist will drive the No. 15 Albertson's Chevrolet at The Milwaukee Mile on July 2 while Skinner fulfills his Winston Cup duties in Daytona.
