* Before making the jump to the NASCAR Busch series, Stanley driver
Tim Fedewa was a short track champion. That's why Fedewa especially loves
Nashville Speedway USA, and the challenge it holds for him each time he
races there. Although Fedewa hit a sour note at Bristol Motor Speedway two
weeks ago, he hopes to be singing a different tune at Nashville Speedway.
"I have always loved short track racing," Fedewa said. "Nashville is a track where you have to be aggressive to survive. Just like Bristol, you really have to be on top of your game and pay attention if you want to finish the race. There will be a lot of action on the track this weekend, and I think the Stanley team will have a strong run in Nashville."
* Tim Fedewa will be signing autographs as part of the Tennessee Donor Services "Race for Life" on Thursday night. The autograph session will be in the Agricultural Building at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds from 7 to 9 p.m.
* Doug Rice with the Performance Racing Network was the winner of last weekend's "Who Wants To Be A Tool Winner?" Stanley Tools Sweepstakes 2000. He won a Stanley hammer and screwdriver for his entry in the contest. Guess where Tim Fedewa and the Stanley team will finish this weekend at Nashville and win a Stanley saw and mitre box.
