CASEY ATWOOD ON TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY: "The key to Texas is having a strong motor and the best body aerodynamically. We use Hutter Engines, so we aren't lacking in power. This is the same car we used in Atlanta but we've made a few changes to the nose and body since then."
"I don't care much for the bigger tracks (like Texas). It's not that I have a fear of them, but for me as a driver, it's a lot more fun racing on short tracks."
COME MEET CASEY ATWOOD IN NASHVILLE: On April 6, fans in the Nashville, Tennessee area have the opportunity to meet Casey Atwood, driver of the No. 27 Castrol GTX Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The 19-year-old driver will be signing autographs in conjunction with a charity event, which benefits the Tennessee Donor Services and Friends in General. The event runs from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and is being held in the Agricultural Building at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds adjacent to Nashville Speedway USA.
CASEY ATWOOD COUNTING DOWN TO NASHVILLE: Casey Atwood, driver of the No. 27 Castrol GTX Chevrolet Monte Carlo, is counting down the days until the April 8 running of the BellSouth Mobility 320 at Nashville Speedway USA, his home track.
"I've been waiting for this race since I finished second last year," said Atwood, a resident of Antioch, Tennessee. "After the race in Texas, waiting the last few days is going to be the hardest part."
