"This race track wears the tires out so quickly. One of the concepts
you've got to remember throughout the entire race is tire management. You
can't abuse the tires, but you can't be too easy during pit stops because
you'll find yourself a lap down. Teaching yourself tire management is
something the rookies will have to learn pretty fast.
"I think a good shock package is a must to run well and have a good finish. There is also a tricky combination of handling and horsepower.
"I've always enjoyed running Darlington, even though some people think it's one of the most difficult tracks to get a handle on. I've got a pole there, ran well there and I've even won there. I know what it takes to do all three, so hopefully I can do one if not all three of them this weekend."
