Ken Schrader Said... "Last weekend at Rockingham was great for the "M&M's" Team. Sammy and the guys made the right call during the first caution to come in and get tires. We went right up through the field and in no time we were running in the top 10. I got out of the car after the race and felt great. The guys had great pit stops and we only had to make one small change to the car all day. That is a real tribute to the guys on the team because they had the car perfect for the race.
"As for Vegas, it is without a doubt one of the nicest tracks we go to. The track is very smooth and we can pass on it anywhere, which makes for some great racing. I've won there in a Winston West car, so I'm looking to do equally as well in a Winston Cup car this weekend. I am really excited about how strong this team has been the past two weeks. We had a top 10 at Daytona, then went to a track less than half the size and performed equally as well."
Ken Schrader's Stats...
* Ken Schrader and the "M&M's" Racing Team have had a successful start to their first season together. The most colorful team on the race track finished ninth at Daytona then followed that up with a 13th-place finish at Rockingham. The "M&M's" Team is enjoying its best start in four seasons together.
* The "M&M's" Racing Team had a solid performance at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 1999. Despite starting from the 40th position, the team recovered to find the No. 36 Pontiac Grand Prix in the sixth position at the checkered flag.
