Pensacola, FL--Blue Dolphin Designs, the official apparel and souvenir supplier of the American Speed Association (ASA), has decided to further their relationship with the racing community by competing in the ASA ACDelco Series with driver Tracy Goodson.

Goodson, a 31-year-old Pensacola native, is a well-established late model driver with a track championship at Five Flags Speedway. He began his stock car racing career at the age of 19, and has finished in the top three in late model season points for three consecutive years. Not only is Goodson no stranger to the track, but he is also a successful businessman with years of experience in the apparel industry. Goodson is excited about advancing his racing career to ASA and has set high goals for himself and the team, one of which includes winning the Pat Schauer Memorial Rookie of the Year award.

"I am very excited about being a part of the ASA ACDelco racing family. This is an outstanding series, and I look forward to racing side by side with some of the most talented drivers in the country," said Goodson.

Rounding out this electrifying new team at Blue Dolphin Racing is crew chief, Wade Wilkes. Wilkes has a strong racing background, including six years of driving experience. He worked for Mike Miller’s ASA race team for the past three years, focusing on chassis design and suspension geometry, while also learning a great deal about pit strategy and car set-up.

"I know this team has a long road ahead of us, but with the combination of knowledge I have acquired through my experiences and the driving skills of Tracy, the team can be successful at each venue," Wilkes said.

Be sure to check out Blue Dolphin Racing souvenirs in the stands and driver, Tracy Goodson, on the track as they make their debut at the season opening BFGoodrich Tires 200, March 26 at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, FL.
