JEFF BURTON --99-- Exide Batteries Taurus (Finished 2nd) -- "The 88 car was in a class by itself. It's been a long time since I've seen two cars hook up and couldn't run a guy down, but they're just that stout I guess. The Exide guys had a good pit stop, I didn't get in the pits very good. Terry beat us all getting in the pits, but it wouldn't have mattered anyway."

HOW WAS YOUR CAR? "The car drove really well, I mean it really drove well. I just think the 88, they've just got their stuff together better than the rest of us do. He beat us through the corners and he beat us down the straigthaway too, so we've gotta go to work before next Sunday I know that."
