Daytona Beach, FL - Mark Dismore and Greg Ray ran the True Value IROC practice cars this morning in preparation for their debut in the all-star series. Dismore practiced briefly on Tuesday before leaving to test his IRL car with Kelley Racing in Phoenix. Dismore's reorientation this morning was led by IROC test driver Jim Sauter, and fellow IRL competitor Greg Ray.

Said Dismore, "I've been out of it for a few days, its good to be back, definitely different." Remarking on the three-wide practice Dismore said, "You're doing O.K. as long as the right hand knows what the left hand is doing. I was the meat in the sandwich there for a while, then I ran on top--you're just hoping the guy on the bottom gives the guy in the middle some room."

IROC test driver Jim Sauter said Dismore and Ray are doing an excellent job at picking up the nuances of driving sedans on the Superspeedway.

The True Value IROC series kicks off round one of the four part series on Friday, February 18 at the Daytona International Speedway. ABC Sports will air the Daytona IROC race on March 12 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
