Little Rock AR--Nessa Motorsports has completed their
second successful test session in Altus
Oklahoma this past weekend. This time their concentration was on setup and
consistent lap times. Best lap of the day was 18.30 with consistent
18.50s.
"We think we could still improve our time" says Eddie Provence "but we
feel
we should worry more about being consistent than fast. Our main concern is
getting a good qualifying lap at Bakersfield and then worry about the
race.
We know it will be tough" Eddie continued "but I think if we make the
field
we will be able to hold our own during the event."
(OTHER NEWS)
The ARCA program for this year has been dropped so that Nessa Motorsports can concentrate on finding sponsors for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Art Rogers has been promoted to Assistant Crew Chief.
Jack Bubbus has been hired as Jack Man.
And maybe a first for NASCAR Craftsman Truck Racing, Ms. Connie Perkins has been appointed Gas Catch Can Person for Nessa Motorsports. She will work her first race "over the wall" at Mesa Marin in March.
During Speedweek in Daytona, driver Eddie Provence will be present and available for interviews or questions about his race team.
Nessa Motorsports is still in search of a primary sponsor for the Mesa Marin race and the other six races they will enter this year. These events provide significant exposure and an excellent marketing opportunity for any company looking for maximum exposure. Racing today is the largest spectator sport in the world and the advertising advantages are endless.
