Formula One: Indianapolis Motor Speedway accepting general admission ticket orders for US Grand Prix

INDIANAPOLIS, Thursday, Feb. 3, 2000 - The
Indianapolis Motor Speedway is
accepting general admission ticket applications for the inaugural Formula
One United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis on Sept. 22-24.
General admission tickets are available for all three days of the event. The price for the practice Friday, Sept. 22 is $10; for the practice/qualifications on Saturday, Sept. 23 is $20; and for race day, Sunday, Sept. 24 is $30.
Combination tickets also are available, with three-day combination tickets available for $50 and two-day (Friday-Saturday) tickets for $25.
On Friday and Saturday, general admission tickets permit access to the grounds, including the spectator viewing mounds and any available grandstand seating area.
But for race day, grandstand seating is reserved, and general admission tickets will provide admission to the grounds and seating on spectator viewing mounds only.
The Speedway also is still accepting reserved seat ticket orders.
General admission and reserved seat ticket order forms can be obtained in several ways:
Call the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ticket office at (800) 822-INDY, or (317) 484-6700 within the Indianapolis area or internationally.
E-mail the ticket office at tickets@brickyard.com and request a form.
Visit the U.S. Grand Prix Web site at http://www.usgpindy.com and download the online ticket application.
Purchase tickets at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway ticket office counter, located in the Speedways administration building.
All orders not purchased at the Speedway ticket office must be mailed. Fax and telephone orders will not be accepted.
Ticket office hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (EST) Monday through Friday.
