Toledo, Ohio- The ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series, fresh from its highly-successful inaugural season, is ready to roll on in 2000.

With 17 events, ARCAs newest touring series is prepared to go after its 2nd consecutive season of competition beginning with a Winchester Speedway opener on May 7th, one of two appearances for the ARCA Trucks in 2000 at the well-known high-banked oval.

Depictive of ARCAs versatile national championship Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series, the trucks will also race on the dirt with events at Crystal Motor Speedway in Michigan and LaSalle Speedway in Illinois. Perennial stops include ARCAs signature tracks at Flat Rock and Toledo Speedways as well as Hoosier state appearances at the Anderson, Indiana quarter-mile bull-ring, Baer Field Speedway and the legendary Salem Speedway. ARCA Truck fans in Ohio will have Shady Bowl and Kil-Kare Speedways to choose from as well as a new venue this year at Lorain County Speedway. Additional new stops on the tour include events at Illiana Motor Speedway and Plymouth Speedway in Indiana as well as Berlin Raceway and M-40 Motorsports Arena in Michigan. Additions to the schedule are probable.

Bill Withers of Columbus, Ohio, the 99 ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series champion, will return to defend his title. In the inaugural 99 season, 15 events produced 9 different winners in what turned out to be an extremely competitive season.
