Mountain Auto Sport Racing and Kermit Upton, which swept the Road Atlanta Speedvision GT Rounds in 1999, will return to the series in 2000 with a three-car BMW effort.

"Now we have the momentum to bring the team back in 2000," said Upton, a seven-time GT winner. "We proved our BMWs can win races. With two M3s and an M Coupe available, drivers joining the team can accelerate in North America s premier sports car sprint series with BMW, a manufacturer known for racing excellence."

Upton does not plan on driving one of the cars in an effort to concentrate on team management, car development and sponsorship opportunities. For more information on Mountain Auto Sport Racing, visit its website at www.masracing.com.
