INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Indianapolis Raceway Park has
announced that group ticket rates and hospitality packages will be
available
again in the 2000 season for events on the multi-purpose facility's
.686-mile oval track and world-famous quarter-mile drag strip.
"A group can enjoy a variety of spectacular auto racing events, ranging from USAC midgets, sprint cars, and Silver Bullet cars to NASCAR's Busch and Truck series on the oval, and from local E.T. events to the NHRA U.S. Nationals on the drag strip," explained Amy Litzelman, IRP's Group Sales Coordinator. "There's an event for virtually any type of group."
For most events, groups of 21 to 99 guests receive a discount of $3.00 per ticket, while groups of 100 to 249 guests receive a discount of $5.00 per ticket. Groups of 250 or more guests qualify for a special rate. IRP also offers a "Green Light Special" for selected events, for which groups of 21 or more receive tickets at a special price of $5.00 each.
Hospitality packages include private race parties utilizing IRP's hospitality tents and suite level entertainment areas for most events.
For the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Busch Series events in early August, IRP offers the Turn 4 Club. This package includes a reserves seat race ticket, a buffet dinner, selection of beverages, pre-race pit tours, VIP parking, and a souvenir race program.
