HMS, LLC. is pleased to introduce the American Racing Association as the sanctioning body to replace the Winston Racing Series. The ARA will encompass a totally new, exciting race format that provides both participant and spectator excitement on a level playing field for the pursuit of a track, as well as divisional and national championships. The highlights of the program are as follows:

o A comprehensive insurance policy, which covers medical bills after primary insurance coverage.

o A unique points system that encourages a competitive race format as well as provides challenge and excitement for each racer, but is still controlled by the racer, by awarding "charging" points, qualifying, heat and finishing points.

o A track championship program that facilitates inner-divisional competition en-route to a true track champion, which can be won by any competitor in any division of the weekly racing series licensed under the ARA.

o A national weekly racing series champion which can be won by any competitor, from any division, from any ARA sanctioned track, or multiple tracks in a "best eighteen" race format.

o A national ARA All Star Touring program.

o A comprehensive points fund of $50,000-plus for the weekly racing series as well as a $50,000-plus points fund for the ARA All Star Touring program.

o A local, regional, and national promotional campaign to give exposure to the weekly racing series, the ARA ALL Star touring series, as well as the drivers and sponsors participating in the programs. This will include TV, radio, magazine, newspaper, and websites.

o A total racing format focused exclusively on short tracks and short track racers.

"Doc Kasin and I look forward to a competitive, exciting season in the year 2000. If you have any questions feel free to contact the General Manager of your local track or either one of us directly" said John Huffman, promoter of the ARA.
