Ferrari will make its Speedvision GT Championship debut in 2000 in the hands of Bell Motorsports and lead driver Matt Drendel, of Hickory, N.C. Bell Motorsports most recently, had success with BMW M3s in endurance racing, and has entered two Ferrari 355 Challenge cars with sponsorship coming from Drendel Racing.

Drendell finished second in the 1999 Ferrari Challenge Series and had an amazing run of six-straight flag-to-flag wins in the middle of the season. The driver of the team car will be named at a later date, and Nathan McBride and Doug Nagy will serve as Crew Chiefs. Nagys last World Challenge effort resulted in a Drivers Championship with Shane Lewis in the 1996 S2 class.
