Late Models: New Series Announced for Late Model All -Star Tour

Columbia, S.C. - John Huffman of, HSM, LLC, announced a new Late Model All-Star Tour Series this week. The series name is American Racing Association (ARA) the inaugural race will be held February 18/19 at Florida Speed Park, St, Augustine, Fl.

The first will be a non-points race but will pay $5,000 to win. Following is the schedule for the Y2K Season.

Feb 18/19 - Florida Speed Park, St. Augustine Fl. 200 Laps*
Apr. 1 - Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory, N.C. 125 Laps
Apr. 7 - Tri-County Motor Speedway, Hudson, N.C. 125 Laps
Apr. 15 - Lonesome Pine Speedway, Coeburn, Va. 125 Laps
Apr. 29 - Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory, N.C. 125 Laps
May 5 - Tri-County Motor Speedway, Hudson, N.C. 125 Laps
May 13 - Lonesome Pine Speedway, Coeburn, Va. 125 Laps
May 27 - Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory, N.C. 125 Laps
June 3 - Peach State Speedway, Jefferson, Ga. 200 Laps**
June 9 - Tri-County Motor Speedway, Hudson, N.C. 125 Laps
June 17 - Lonesome Pine Speedway, Coeburn, Va. 125 Laps
July 1 - Montgomery Motor Speedway, Montgomery, Al. 200 Laps**
July 7 - Tri-County Motor Speedway, Hudson, N.C. 125 Laps
July 15 - Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory, N.C. 125 Laps
July 28 - Tri-County Motor Speedway, Hudson, N.C. 125 Laps
Aug. 5 - Lonesome Pine Speedway, Coeburn, Va. 125 Laps
