PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- You may have been to an AMA Supercross before, but if you've ever wanted to be more than just a spectator, then make your reservations on one of a series of special AMA Supercross travel packages now being offered by AMA Travel. As with its other new-for-2000-racing event travel packages, AMA Travel has secured blocks of the best seats at a selection of top AMA EA Supercross Series events, and has made special arrangements to provide you with insider's technical discussions, behind-the-scenes tours of the track and paddock areas, and the chance to meet Supercross stars.
These AMA Supercross travel packages include quality accommodations near the stadiums, which, in many instances, are the same hotels used by the racers. AMA Travel also provides you with media guides, programs, select meals and commemorative souvenirs of the event. AMA Travel can also assist with air travel arrangements or other transportation needs.
"The popularity of AMA Supercross racing continues to grow each year," says Frank Covucci, AMA Travel Director. "Offering you the chance to be a part of the action -- not merely a witness to the racing -- is our way of taking racing-event excursions to the next level, and responding to what Supercross fans have wanted."
The AMA is offering its exclusive Supercross travel packages to the Georgia Dome Feb. 26, the Pontiac Silverdome April 1, the New Orleans Superdome April 15, Las Vegas' Sam Boyd Stadium May 6, and the AMA U.S. Open at Las Vegas' MGM Grand Arena Oct. 14-15.
