Thirty-six drivers are scheduled to take the green flag on the high-banked half-mile oval in St. Augustine. Race fans should prepare themselves for close-quarters racing that begins with the Discount Auto Parts Pole Qualifying at 4:30 p.m. Thirty-two drivers will make the race on time and four provisional spots will complete the starting grid, followed by an autograph session with the stars of the Hooters ProCup Series on the front-stretch at 6 p.m. Then the most famous words in motorsports will bring to life the roar of thirty-six 3400-lbs steel-bodied stock cars that will thunder down the front stretch for the green flag of the Lucas Oil Products 250 at 7 p.m. Local racing to follow.
