Mike Skinner will again take the wheel of the #19 Team Yellow
Racing/Pameco Chevrolet. "I'm looking forward to competing in the first
Busch Series race at Phoenix," commented Skinner. "Many Busch teams didn't
get a chance to test at Phoenix, so I hope my experience on the track will
be an advantage for the team. The Busch teams only get three hours of
practice before qualifying Thursday afternoon. It's a pretty fast track
for a mile, so I'm interested to see how quickly these teams can figure
out the best set-up."
Memphis Review: "Talk about a rollercoaster," Mike Skinner said. "I can't tell you how proud I was of Jamie and the team when they made the race on Saturday. I was still pretty excited at the start of the race and then all of the sudden, the team's done for the day. If I was frustrated, I can only imagine how Jamie and the team felt." Jamie Skinner expressed these thoughts: "It was so important to me to make the most of the opportunity Emerald Performance Group had offered me. Making that race was a major accomplishment, but I knew we could provide a decent finish because the car felt really good during the final practice. The impatience of others took away my chance to show how good the #19 Chevy really was."
Look to the Skies: While Mike Skinner will be driving at speeds averaging 130 m.p.h. on race day, look up and you may see another form of transportation offered by Yellow Freight System. This form, however, prefers to travel in winds under 10 m.p.h. "Onward Yellow," the company's brightly-colored hot air balloon, will be participating in the 25th celebration of the Thunderbird Balloon Classic. The balloon festival will be held in Scottsdale Friday, November 5 through Sunday November 7.
The "Outback Steakhouse 200" will be broadcast live on TNN and MRN on Saturday, November 6 at 2:00 p.m. eastern.
