"M&M's" Racing Team Phoenix International Raceway Highlights...
* Retired "M&M's" Racing Team driver Ernie Irvan hit the talk show circuit on Tuesday, November 2, with a trip to The Maury Povich Show. Irvan was part of a show titled "Maury Makes Kids Wishes Come True," which is set to air in mid-December. Irvan, along with Povich, presented a hard working father of six (including nine-month-old quadruplets) with a trip to the Richard Petty driving experience in Orlando as well as an "M&M's" Racing Team goody bag.
* There will be two "M&M's" Ponitacs in action during the race weekend at Phoenix International Raceway. Not only will the "M&M's" Pontiac run the Dura-Lube 500 on Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway, it is also on display as part of the new PIR ticket office and retail store, the PIR Race Shop. The "M&M's" Racing Team donated the No. 36 Pontiac to the track for display in their new facility.
* The "M&M's" Racing Team has two previous starts at Phoenix International Raceway. The team enjoyed their best performance at the track in its debut at the one-mile facility when the No. 36 Pontiac qualified 16th and went on to finish 16th.
