Brazilian Stock Car Championship

The 15th and 16th round of the Brazilian Stock Car Racing in Curitiba were one of the most exciting of the year.

Home driver Flvio Trindade was on the first row at the start of the 15th round, was driving well behind Xandy Negro until 2 laps from the end, when he was hit from behind and got a DNF and had to start last in the 16th round and finished 8th after a great race.

Chico Serra, championship leader, finished 4th in the 15th round and crashed with Ingo Hoffmann in the 16th round.

Xandy Negro won both races and is now 3rd in the championship and entered the fight for the title.

Paulo Gomes finished both races in third position and is now just 21 points behind Chico Serra.

Luciano Zangirolami, Class B driver, was the start of the day finishing 6th in the 16th round against more than 20 Class A drivers.Final Results:

4) Chico Serra;
5) Ingo Hoffmann;
6) Carlos Alves.
