TIMBER WOLF TEAM IS Y2K COMPLIANT: The Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team
reported that it is ready for the Y2K (2000) racing season. Two weeks
ago,
the Central City, Kentucky-based NASCAR Busch Series team with driver
Kevin
Grubb received a new superspeedway chassis from Laughlin Racing Products
and
has since fitted it with a 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo body. The still
unnamed car is one of two 2000 No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo's
the
team is currently building.
"We are well under way for 2000," said crew chief Terry Shirley. "We have a short track car nearly complete with a new 2000 body and the speedway car is coming along nicely. In the next few weeks as the season winds down, we will change the bodies on the rest of the Timber Wolf cars."
COUNTDOWN TO 100: The No. 37 Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team is counting down to its 100th NASCAR Busch Series start. Since 1995, the No. 37 team has made 97 series starts with the 100th coming in the Outback Steakhouse 200 at Phoenix International Raceway on November 6.
ASSOCIATE SPONSOR AT NORTH CAROLINA SPEEDWAY: Trade Mart, a convenience store chain with 63 outlets in Eastern North Carolina, is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the Kmart 200 at North Carolina Speedway.
