IRL: Scott Goodyear Medical Update

Scott Goodyear, driver of the #4 Pennzoil Panther G-Force/Aurora/Goodyear was released at 1:00 p.m. today from Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas in good condition.

Goodyear was taken to Parkland for observation after an accident in yesterday's Mall.com 500. Goodyear had complained of leg pain immediately following the incident but x-rays taken showed no new injuries.

Goodyear had broken a bone in both his left foot and fibula during the Las Vegas race on September 26th and those breaks were healing well according to last nights x-rays.
