join Larry Hedrick Motorsports and the AFG Racing team as an associate
sponsor on the No. 41 Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Saturday's All Pro Bumper
to
Bumper 300 NASCAR Busch Series race at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Since 1913, Virginia Mirror Company has been known throughout the mirror industry as the "stable source for quality." Located in Martinsville, Virginia, the primary complex has grown to fill the needs of the stock sheet and cut size mirror market.
Sister company to Virginia Mirror is Virginia Glass Products Corporation, a leading manufacturer of precision custom tempered glass, all glass entrances and doors, and ceramic enamel frit spandrel for the commercial construction market and original equipment manufacturers.
APPROACHING TWO AND TWO: David Green is quickly approaching his 200th NASCAR Busch Series Career start. Saturday's All Pro Bumper to Bumper 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway marks Green's 174th career series start. The Owensboro, Kentucky native began his Busch Series career in 1989, with his first full season coming in 1991. The 1994 Busch Series Champion has five wins, 19 poles, 47 top five and 76 top 10 finishes to his credit.
To accompany the multitude of starts, Green is approaching two million dollars in Busch Series earnings. He rings in at $1,936,557 going into Saturday's race.
DAVID GREEN RETURNS TO THE SCENE OF THE POLE: David Green, driver of the No. 41 AFG Industries/Larry Hedrick Motorsports Chevrolet Monte Carlo, returns to Lowe's Motor Speedway for the All Pro Bumper to Bumper 300 NASCAR Busch Series race, the site of his only pole position in the 1999 season.
Green returns to the 1.5-mile oval with the same car that won the pole in the spring, brought him a top 10 finish at Talladega and one top five and one top 10 finish at the two events held at Dover Downs International Speedway earlier this year.
"I am very excited about our chances to do well at Charlotte," said Green. "We're bringing the same car we had at the spring race, which is my favorite. We're hoping it can be as good to us this time as it was in May.
"Charlotte is one of those places that you want to win at,"continued the 1994 Busch Series Champion. "It is a very prestigious track. It also is the track that changes the most, so you never really know what it is going to be like. We'll do our best to win the pole again, and if we can get our race set up together, we'll be sitting on gold. Even better, we'll be standing in victory lane."
