JEFF BURTON --99-- Exide Batteries Taurus (Qualified 13th) -- YOU WERE FASTER ON THE FIRST LAP, WHY? "I drove in a little bit deep into three. I knew we had a fairly safe lap, that would certainly get us in first round unless something weird happened, and I went to go for it and just drove in a little bit too deep getting into three. That made it push the nose and it got loose off, but it was loose off because I had a lot of wheel turn to it trying to get it to turn. It's a little slower than what we had run today, I just made a mistake on the last lap."
