ENGLEWOOD, Colo--SCCA Pro Racing and Motorsports Americas, Inc., have reached a mutual agreement awarding Motorsports Americas, Inc., exclusive Latin American rights to develop venues and race weekends in Latin America and the Caribbean. Motorsports Americas, Inc., led by President Ralph Sanchez, created the first-ever race weekend outside of North America for the Trans-Am Series and the World Challenge Championships, the 2000 season finale at the Aruba Motorsports Complex at Seroe Colorado.

"Our relationship spans 15 years, and we look forward to furthering our involvement with Mr. Sanchez and Motorsports Americas," said K.C. Van Niman, SCCA Pro Racing President and CEO. "Latin America and the Caribbean have an excellent base of racing fans and we strongly support Mr. Sanchez in his efforts to expand motorsports throughout the region."
