HARRISBURG, N.C. -- The "Fast Talk with Benny Parsons" radio show will broadcast live Monday, Oct. 4 from the newly opened Bob Evans Restaurant on Speedway Boulevard in Concord, N.C., from 8 to 9 p.m., EST.

The show is open to the public and the restaurant will be open for business as usual.

Randy LaJoie, a two-time NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division champion and driver of the Bob Evans Restaurants Racing Chevrolet will be the featured guest along with Shawna Robinson, who drives the Bob Evans Restaurants Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Bondo/Mar-Hyde car in select events.

LaJoie has more than 185 NASCAR Busch Series, Grand National Division career starts, 12 victories, six poles, 49 top-five and 80 top-10 finishes. If LaJoie wins the Oct. 9 All Pro Bumper to Bumper 300 at Lowe's Motor Speedway, a Bob Evans customer will pocket a cool million through the "Bob Evans Restaurants Wildfire Barbecue Sweepstakes," and the team will take home an extra $100,000.

Robinson drove the Bob Evans Restaurants Chevrolet to a second-place finish in the season-opening ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. She is scheduled to qualify for the Oct. 16 ARCA event at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.

Bob Evans Farms Inc. currently owns and operates more than 420 full-service, family restaurants in 20 states, principally in the east, North Central, mid-Atlantic and southern United States, as well as Texas. The company also is a leading producer of pork sausage under the Bob Evans and Owens brand names.
