Charlotte -- Just three days after driving his #20 Home
Depot Pontiac to victory in Richmond, Va., rookie driver Tony Stewart
joined
volunteers from Home Depot in Charlotte, N.C. to drive nails for Habitat
for
Humanity. Stewart was at the construction site this morning along with
team
owner Joe Gibbs (pictured) to help build the first of more than 100
Habitat
for
Humanity houses that Home Depot plans to build across North America over
the
next two years with the help of its NASCAR partners.
This past weekend at Richmond International Raceway, Stewart became the
first
rookie since the late Davey Allison (1987) to visit the Winner's Circle in
his
first year of NASCAR Winston Cup competition.
