8 September 1999

DETROIT - CART Licensed Products, the merchandising arm of Championship Auto Racing Teams, has enhanced its product line at www.cart.com.

CLP has worked with Quokka Sports, CARTs Internet partner, to expand the on-line CART store, which now offers 70 different types of racing merchandise. The new products range from CART apparel and team and driver merchandise to Action Performance and Hot Wheels die-cast items.

"Its great to be able to offer our CART fans new and unique racing merchandise," said Jonathan Frank, president of CART Licensed Products. "Consumer on-line spending continues to grow. Following our additions to the CART on-line store, sales doubled in the first week.

"Quokka Sports has been very responsive in working with CLP to continue the development and growth of our E-commerce business. Our goal is to have a breadth of product available not only for CART fans, but for all fans of motorsports."

Some of the items CART fans can choose include 100% cotton caps from their favorite CART team or driver; a Champ Car performance fleece featuring a full-chest Champ Car silhouette; and die-cast Champ Car models with incredible detail from teams such as Target/Chip Ganassi Racing and Team Rahal.
