NOTES OF INTEREST: The Jasper Engines & Transmissions 150 will be the 53rd ARCA Bondo/Mar-Hyde Series race held at Flat Rock Speedway since the series first raced there in 1953. Two-time ARCA champion Marvin Smith is the all-time winner at Flat Rock with 6 victories to his credit and is also the all-time Talladega Pole Award winner there with 10. Six former ARCA winners at Flat Rock are currently, or have competed in NASCAR including Winston Cup drivers' Gary Bradberry, Jeremy Mayfield and 1995 ARCA champion Andy Hillenburg, 1988 ARCA champion and Busch Series driver Tracy Leslie and Craftsman Truck Series drivers' Bob Keselowski and Joe Ruttman. Entrants this year include defending champion Frank Kimmel, current point leader Bill Baird, 88 ARCA champion Tracy Leslie, 99 Daytona ARCA 200 winner Bobby Gerhart, veterans Mark Gibson, Bob Schacht, Dill Whittymore and Joe Cooksey to name a few. After 11 events in 99, there have been 7 different winners including 5 first-time winners; Gerhart at Daytona, Baird at Atlanta, Mario Gosselin at Lowes, David Keith at Michigan and Blaise Alexander at Toledo.
