Tony's Thoughts on Milwaukee:

"I'm really looking forward to racing there. We had an awesome car at Loudon (N.H.), which was our last flat one-mile track. We qualified fourth and the car ran so well all weekend. Unfortunately, we had an engine problem on the first lap and ended up with a terrible finish.

"We learned what was wrong with the engine and have that problem fixed. I think we can hit the combination with the car to have a really good run. I love the Milwaukee track and look forward to a strong race there."

Roper has raced at The Milwuakee Mile numerous times in his ASA (American Speed Association) and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series career. He's had a couple of top-10 runs in the ASA cars and 17th and 18th-place finishes in his two truck series races at the historic oval.

Roper and the Xpress Motorsports team will move on from Milwaukee to a two-day test at Myrtle Beach Speedway on July 6 and 7. That is in preparation for the upcoming race at the .538-mile oval on July 17.
