NASCAR BGN: Brewco Motorsports' Open House Event Raises $1,100 for the Muhlenberg County Humane Society

24 June 1999

Central City, KY - Brewco Motorsports Inc. held an Open House gala at its newly completed 20,000 sq. ft. motorsports complex in Central City, Kentucky on June 18, hosting more than 1500 fans and well-wishers.

The shop houses two of Brewco Motorsports' three NASCAR Busch Series teams. Casey Atwood's No. 27 Castrol GTX Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Kevin Grubb's No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo are prepared in the Central City complex, while Kevin Lepage's No. 99 Red Man Chevrolet Monte Carlo shop is located in Mooresville, North Carolina.

"We are very pleased that we had this opportunity to give something back to the local fans and community," said Brewco Motorsports President Clarence Brewer Jr. "The number of fans who turned out and the amount of money we raised for the Muhlenberg County Humane Society was beyond our expectations."

The event, which allowed fans to tour the complex and meet Atwood, Grubb, the Castrol GTX team and the Timber Wolf team, raised more than $1,100 for the Muhlenberg County Humane Society.

"Without a doubt, this event was our best fund raiser ever," said Muhlenberg County Humane Society President Trish Creager. "We look forward to our continued involvement with Brewco Motorsports."
