MICHEL JOURDAIN, JR -19- Herdez Viva Mexico Ford-Cosworth - Qualified 6th - THIS EFFORT MARKS MICHEL'S SECOND BEST QUALIFYING EFFORT (FIRST WAS IN FONTANA IN 1997 WHEN HE QUALIFIED 5TH) "The car in the rain needs to be better. We had a big push during the session. We are not as quick as we would have liked to go but we are working on it. A good thing for us was the fact that we were able to get some dry laps in on the car so that should help us. The guys in the first session didn't have that opportunity. It's nice to be in the fast group for tomorrow."
