USAC: Two-Point Spread Separates Top Two F2000 Competitors

HEADING INTO SUNDAY'S "US ROAD RACING CLASSIC" AT MID-OHIO

Only two points separate the top two drivers in the USAC/SCCA Formula 2000 National Championship heading into this weekend's "U.S. Road Racing Classic" at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.

Canadian Marc-Antoine Camirand is the leader, closely pursued by Englishman Dan Wheldon. Both scored victories in races May 22-23 at Mosport in Canada and are looking to repeat this weekend on Mid-Ohio's challenging road circuit.

Practice is slated Friday from 9:20-9:50 am and qualifying commences Friday at 2:10 pm. Qualifying continues at 10:45 am Saturday and Sunday's 20-lap race gets the green flag at 9:30 am.
