IRL, TRADE: Discover Speedway Magazine, the 100% IRL Magazine

Santa Monica, CA - In a few weeks, Speedway Magazine will celebrate its first anniversary. The new 100% Pep Boys Indy Racing League bimonthly magazine was launched twelve months ago. Created by Emmanuel Lupe, Speedway Magazine is the only full color 52-page magazine dedicated to the Pep Boys Indy Racing League. Every two months Speedway Magazine presents behind the scenes of the league and talks about the men and women working in the IRL.

By relating unusual and fascinating stories, by revealing the secrets of the IRL drivers, by presenting the latest IRL news and by covering Pep Boys IRL races like no one has before, in less than one year, Speedway Magazine has become THE magazine of the men and women of the Indy Racing League!

Speedway Magazine brings you exclusive one-on-one interviews with the drivers, team owners, sponsors, IRL executives and technical suppliers.

In every issue Speedway Magazine also features the IRL Sponsor, the Team, the Artist, and the IRL Star of the month.

The sixth issue of 1998/1999, will be published May 17th and this Special Indy 500 Issue includes exclusive one-on-one interviews with Scott Sharp, Billy Boat, Stephan Gregoire, Fred Treadway, and Jeff Sinden. The issue also presents the last Indy 500 of the millennium, the latest construction at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the inaugural Pep Boys Indy Racing League advertising campaign from Wieden & Kennedy, as well as very colorful photo coverage of the MCI Worldcom 200 and the Indy 500 open test.

You can now visit the new Speedway Magazine web site at Speedwayonline.com where fans, participants and sponsors can easily learn how to subscribe and how to advertise. From this site you can also be linked directly with every Pep Boys IRL web sites, IRL teams, drivers, suppliers and sponsors.

The site also features a FAN MESSAGE BOARD which allows race fans to leave their personal messages! 5,000 copies of the special Indy 500 issue will be distributed to the IRL community during the Indy 500 period.
