Rally: Success Beckons Around The Corner In Corsica

The Subaru World Rally Team will concentrate its efforts on this specialist event on Britains Richard Burns and Belgiums Bruno Thiry. Meanwhile, team-mate Juha Kankkunen, is applying his depth of experience to gravel testing in Greece to ensure a high degree of preparation for the forthcoming switch back to loose surfaces.

Richard Burns: "I have only competed here once before, and on that occasion I didnt finish, so the knowledge bank isnt particularly full. However, my confidence account is brimming, so on the basis that everything runs to plan, Im looking forward to a good rally"

Bruno Thiry: "I set a number of fastest times here last year, and in 1995 of course I was so close to winning. I feel that this time it should really be my rally, and I am going to do everything possible to make sure"
