SCCA: '99 Pro Spec Racer Series TV Schedule Full Season Coverage on Speedvision

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--For the first time in series' history, the Speedvision Network will provide original and encore tape-dealyed coverage of the entire 1999 Pro Spec Racer nine-race season beginning with the season-opener at Mosport Park (May 28)."We're thrilled to have the entire Pro Spec Racer season broadcast on Speedvision," said Bob Anderson, Pro Spec Racer General Manager. "Pro Spec Racer continues to offer some of the closest competition in professional racing, and we're excited to have Speedvision bring the action into the living rooms of race fans across the country."
In addition to its Mosport coverage, Speedvision will also air tape-delayed telecasts of the races at Mid-Ohio (June 13), Pikes Peak (July 3), Road Atlanta (July 31 and Aug.1), Grand Rapids (Sept. 6), Homestead (Oct. 23), Watkins Glen (Oct. 25) and Sebring (Nov. 8).
The Stamford, Conn.-based Speedvision is America's first and only cable network dedicated to automobile, aviation, and marine information and entertainment. The 24-hour channel offers a wide range of programmingfrom news and lifestyle products to historical documentaries, racing events and instructional showsand has grown to a reach of 25 million households.
