1999 Stats and Facts:

Nadeau posted the best finish of his career -- 11th -- in the 1999 season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Two weeks ago he finished 24th at Texas Motor Speedway after starting 21st. His finish moved him up one position in the NASCAR Winston Cup point standings to 31st place.

1998 Stats and Facts:

Nadeau finished 37th and 32nd, respectively, in the two NASCAR Winston Cup races at Bristol Motor Speedway in 1998. His highest finish in 1998 was 15th at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International. His best starting position was at Sears Point (Sonoma, Calif.) Raceway, where he posted the second-fastest speed in time trials.

Nadeau's Thoughts on Bristol Motor Speedway:

"A lot of the other (NASCAR) Winston Cup drivers describe Bristol like racing in a huge mixing bowl, but I'm hoping not to get mixed up in anything this weekend. Last year I qualified pretty well for both races, but I got into trouble. I'm hoping to redeem myself this year.

I actually enjoy Bristol a lot. It's a fast race track, and if you can keep all your fenders and stay out there all day, you should have a good race."
