SCCA: Showing Off at SEMA

Two Speedvision GT Championship teams will be showing their cars this weekend at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Import Auto Salon 99 at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, Calif., March 26-28.The Hikari Works Racing Team will be featured at the SCCA Pro Racing/Speedvision World Challenge Championships display area with David Schardt's No. 94 The Wheel Source/Hikari Works Toyota Supra Turbo. Peter Cunningham's retired No. 42 RealTime Racing/ CompTech Acura NSX will also be shown along with several other historical hot rods in the Feature Vehicle Display. Cunningham drove the NSX to his second World Challenge Drivers' Championship in 1997.
The SEMA Import Auto Salon show is a showcase of automotive aftermarket professionals looking to take advantage of the surging import performance market to build their businesses. Import Auto Salon '99 is open to both trade and public on Saturday and Sunday, but no retail sales are allowed. Exhibitors are there to educate consumers and show-off their latest and greatest.
