Brazilian Racing News: Orsi Leads Sudam F-3

After the two first rounds of the Sudam F-3 Championship in Cascavel, Mato Grosso driver Hoover Orsi leads the championship with 35 points. Orsi came back to Brazil after his sponsors left him after the brazilian economical crisis. and he didnt had the budget to run in Great Britain. Now, racing for Cesário Formula and with the support and money of his family, Orsi showed that he really has the talent. He won the first race on saturday, after starting 4th on the grid and taking the lead after leader Ricardo Sperafico (Amir Nasr Racing) spun. At the end of the race, he was far away from second Leonardo Nienkotter and third place Rodrigo Sperafico. On sunday, pole man Duda Pamplona started better and just lost one position, to rookie Hoover Orsi. Orsi soon had problems with his wing that was loose and his car had great understeering. Pamplona, after driving 29 laps in Orsi's slipstream, finally got through and lead the race until the end. Orsi, even being 2 seconds a lap slower, arrived second, followed by Leonardo Nienkotter, Ricardo Sperafico. In the championship Orsi leads with 35 points, followed by Leonardo Nienkotter (Prop Car) with 27 points and in third are Duda Pamplona and Rodrigo Sperafico with 20 points.
