NASCAR BGN: Schrader logs two top-ten finishes in last two Busch Series starts at Atlanta

In Schraders last two starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway, he has accumulated two top-10 finishes. One came in the November, 1998 NASCAR Busch Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway when he finished 10th. The other came in 1995, his last Busch start prior to the November race, when he finished second. He was leading that race with seven laps to go when he was passed by Johnny Benson. He finished .47-seconds behind Benson.

SCHRADERS SCRAPBOOK

Schrader has four NASCAR Busch Series starts at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In those four starts, he has one top-five and two top-10 finishes. Atlanta Motor Speedway holds fond memories for Schrader. He won a NASCAR Winston Cup race there in 1991.

On Atlanta ...

"I am really looking forward to running the Busch Series race at Atlanta," said Schrader. "Ive had some pretty decent finishes there in my last couple of starts in the Busch Series. I always look forward to going to Atlanta anyway because of its fast pace and because of the Winston Cup win. It is going to be a tough race though. There are supposed to be a lot of cars entered, so successfully making it through qualifying will be the first goal."

SCHRADERS EQUIPMENT

Schrader will run the same car that finished 10th at Atlanta in November. The car also had a 10th place finish at Darlington in 1998. The team is using a new motor for Atlanta.
